Therefore, the department supports Hampton residents’ efforts to improve and maintain neighborhoods by providing coaching and consulting, educational opportunities such as Hampton 201, and neighborhood grants. Because housing is a critical aspect of neighborhoods, we work to improve the appearance of neighborhoods through Community Development Block Grant funds, the Curb Appeal Program and the Hampton Home Repair Blitz.
